Catchin up...

So last week Andrew, my roommate, wanted me to come with him to pick up two badgers he shot and wanted to skin... I was just sitting at home doing nothing so I decided I would go with him. On our way to get them, we did a lil bit of shooting and I shot a whistle pig and a bunny. Some people think it's sad that I shot the bunny, but there's tons more out there! haha I don't think it's very sad, but then again I grew up with hunters.

Last week I did my lifeguard training. It took 3 days, about 8 hours each day. The second day was our water training (holyyyy... it was tiring) and the other two days were cpr and first aid stuff for the most part. It feels so nice to have it done and over with! I got my whole get-up on Friday... Maybe I will post a pic sometime. If you're lucky ;] haha but now I'm just waiting to start my first shift at Roaring Springs! I definitely need this, seeing how they cut everyone's hours at HomeFabrics and mine are now at 8 hours a week... SO LAME! I'm gonna start job searching again this week. I feel like that's all I ever do... haha I just need a steady job!!

On Thursday, Krista was here and we went to a concert because her aunt gave her 2 tickets so we took her cousin and her cousin's friend. It was Augustana and The Maine. We didn't end up staying for The Maine because her cousin and her friend were bored and wanted to leave, so we did. Augustana was pretty good though! The main singer has a pretty dang good voice and he played the guitar, harmonica, and piano.

Lea and Sam came on Friday and stayed for the weekend. It was a good time! We went shopping, out to eat, hung out with friends, and planned on going to Roaring Springs but it didn't work out ha. It was a fun weekend though!

On Thursday I am going to watch Tammy and Aaron's kids while Aaron gets surgery on his knee. I think I'm going to stay the night at their house Wednesday night so I can just wake up when the kids do instead of before Tammy and Aaron leave, because that's WAY too early for me haha

Oh anddd my phone is dumb because I haven't paid my bill because with a whole 8 hours a week, I can't afford to. So I can only recieve texts and calls, but can't send either of them. So I have to use good ol facebook to communicate with everyone. It's weird because the internet on my phone works but outgoing things (text/call) don't. I hate money! haha Don't we all? ;]

Well that's all I have to write about for now!

Some thoughts on blogging...

So I've been thinking about this blogging thing lately... and I think it's a fantastical idea! I remember all growing up and I was always told to write in a journal... well I attempted it but never really stuck to it... and I have NO idea where any of those little notebooks went now... So, I think keeping it on a website is much easier to not only write in (because I hate how long it takes to sit down and actually write with a pen and paper...), but it's easier to keep all in one place and to find if I ever want to go back and read it...

Also, I was thinking the other day about the journal my grandma showed me that my mom wrote in... I haven't read all of it or even a tiny fraction of it, but I definitely plan to! I read the first page or two just to see what kinds of things she wrote about. She wrote things describing herself like where she lived at the time, what her goals in life were, and what kind of personality she had, and all sorts of other stuff. I'm SO glad she wrote it down because it's hard for me to get family to talk about her and knowing that it came from HER mind, makes it that much more interesting! One day I will sit down and read it all, but when I was looking at it my grandma said I probably don't want to read it... But I actually do want to! haha

Oh ANDDDDD... I remember in like 8th grade reading about Anne Frank and her little diary she kept... what if my posting become famous one day!? HAHA! Only kidding...

But with all of that said, I plan on blogging a lot more lately... I hope I can stay on top of it and think of things to write :]

p.s. Work was WAY boring today. haha that's all :]

Even though it's not the end of the "long" weekend til tomorrow, I'm still gonna write about it. ha

So Friday I worked then hung out with Caito n Michael. It wasn't a huge get together, kind of just a relaxing one. It was fun, but I stayed out til like 5 in the morning and had to work at 10... whew I was tired haha work yesterday was ok... they sent me and Tammy home 4 hours early because it was so slow and we were the first ones there, so the first on the list to leave. I hate when they send me home early... but nothing I can do... I just need the money... can't wait til I start the other job so I'm not always stressin. :]

Last night I didn't really feel like going out at all so a couple friends came over and we just watched movies. We watched No Strings Attached, Little Fockers, and The Roommate or somethin like that... all pretty good movies! Then after the girls left, I watched The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (...SO SAD!) and Benjamin Button but fell asleep, so now I'm watching it again while I'm blogging my lil heart out! ;] haha

Today I went and saw Willy. It's been over a month so I was pumped to see him. I stayed for 3 hours and we just talked and were the loudest ones in the room, as usual! haha He has a little less than 8 months and we are both pumped! That's like all he talks about ha I can't even imagine how excited he is to be done with that place!

Tomorrow I have to work again! Then a couple days off.

It's Been Far Too Long...

Holy bajoly... I haven't written on this in almost a year... did ya miss me!? Yea... none of you probably even noticed haha buttttt oh well!

So... I'm pretty dang sure there's TONS to catch up on since I blogged last...

Me and AJ broke up back in November... phewww haha ;] I moved out of our apartment and into a house in early February. I now live with Andrew and Chris, buddies from IF. It's nice living with guys cuz they do all the guy stuff that I either don't know how to do or don't want to do haha I'm pretty sure they know me way better now than they ever wished they would... serves them right! haha ;] jokes...

Willy is still in prison but has less than 8 months left now! YAY!! 3 years has flown right by! It's SOOO crazy... He's doing pretty good in there and plans on moving back to IF to live with Airelle and Lea. We will see if that all pans out. A lot of things can change in 8 months... But I hope that whatever happens, he finds a good place to live. If all else fails, he knows he can always live with me. I miss his crazy self!

Layla left for Iraq in September and comes home this September... I miss that crazy girl! But when she gets back, she's gonna move to Boise and we are going to live together! It'll be a way good time I'm sure. She came home for her 2 week break and we hung out quite a bit... well whenever we were in the same town. She got me a bracelet on her way home from Iraq and I still am wearing it. Haven't taken it off since... It's my good luck charm to make sure she makes it home safe! haha kind of cheesy but oh well :]

Brandon came home from Japan for good in March... I have yet to see him. Sucks that we don't get along because he IS my brother... We've never really gotten along very well though so it's not a huge surprise. Maybe one day our differences will settle. We will see...

Larissa lives with her boyfriend and gets the girls every once in a while. Speaking of the girls... I cannot believe how freaking bigggg they are! Ashlyn's 7th birthday is today actually! She was in 1st grade this year... so crazy. Coda is so big too! I miss the little them but they're still way fun when I get to see them!

Hmm... what else? Whitnie comes and sees me when she gets the chance. I hate living so dang far away from my bestest friend! She's also thinking about moving to Boise... I really really hope she does!

Oh I got a job at HomeFabrics (a fabric store) back in the beginning of March. I start my second job at Roaring Springs (the waterpark) in a little less than 2 weeks. I'm sooo pumped for that job. I'm also pumped for the money I will have from working 2 jobs. It's gonna be nice to not be completely struggling.

My old car, Superman or Hubba Bubba or The Beast (haha), broke down. Just less than a couple hundred miles left until it hit 300,000 miles! HAHA! Hence the name... The Beast. That thing went through soooo much in the past years, I'm soo surprised it didn't break down way sooner! Now I have a 2001 Civic, the one my dad and step mom used to drive but now they have a 2011 Civic (sooo jealous! ha).

I'm sure there is SOOO much more I could come up with that has happened but I'm done writing for today... I'm hoping I will be more on top of this blogging thing.

Oh and P.S... I DID finish my second year of college! It feels soo good to have a break though. I apply for the nursing program this fall... But to be honest, I'm expecting a let down but that doesn't mean I'm gonna give up! haha

wow-ee wow-o!

I haven't written on this thing for... years it feels like. haha Okay Jessica the exaggerator... hahaha silly mood. I need sleep.

Soooo... I don't even know what to say. I think last time I wrote I was in IF still... wow a month ago (I think). I'm back in B town now, but probably going to IF again real soon for a visit because I just know how much all my friends and family wish and pray every day of their lives for me to come back! hahaha ;] right!? Probably not, but it is nice to see them.

I am telling myself that this time, I'm going to see more friends than I did last time... because I miss everyone sooo much! Last time I pretty much only saw family and Whitnie and Grace... and I was there for 2 weeks! Geez I'm a slacker. So... this time I'm going to try my hardest to see different friends too!

My favoritestestest holiday is coming up! 4th of July!!!!!!!!!!!!! YESSS! haha I don't know why I love it so much, but I just do. IF's fireworks, warm weather, soo many friends, and just an all around good vibe! ;] (except Buddy freaks out and it makes me feel bad for the poor big fella)

Speaking of Buddy freaking out... One year when we were lighting fireworks, he literally climbed on top of the picnic table in my backyard! 130 pounds on top of that flimsy little table... It was hilarious!

Ohhhh how could I (almost) forget?! The job search is on... I've been keeping my eye open on the internet for a new job. My friend works at some place that hires CNAs but the site said they weren't hiring so she said she'll do some looking and try to get me a job! So... we'll see how that goes. If she's anything like me, she's forgetful... so hopefully she's not like me! haha ;]

Okay... So like usual, I still haven't slept so I'm outta here to snuggle up in bed and snoooooze!

long time, no talk ha

So... I haven't been on here for... a long time. I tried to post a new one the other day but the internet just wouldn't work and erased all of the stuff I wrote. Made me SOO mad! Dumb internet... whatever.

So I'm in Idaho Falls for a little bit. I rode here with Shylee, Amy, and Ashley on their way home from visiting all of us in Boise! I love those guys... we all went to Cheesecake Factory to eat (Becca and Angie joined us too). It was so fun to hang out with them all.

Well, now that I'm in IF... I suprised everyone when I came. Like Whitnie, I talked to her about possibly coming but I wasn't sure. She texted me Sunday and asked if I was still coming and I told her no (even though I was already here). Well, I showed up at her house a little later and she was so excited! :] haha

Anyways, I have just been hangin out with friends so far. Yesterday Whit, Grace, Danica, and I all went on a drive to Palisades and had a little picnic on the dock... well, until we decided it's too cold so we finished eating in the car. We took the dirt roads back as far as we could and had a blast! I love being with them, and love the fresh mountain air! :]

On our way back to IF, we saw a little doggy on the highway and it almost got hit, so we picked it up and saved its life! haha we called the owners and returned it to them. Her name is Jewels!

Oh I watched Avatar today! It's a way good movie... much different than I expected it to be! I like it though. A good one for sure...

finals... ugh!

So I have 3 finals this week and a 15 page paper due! ughhh... I'm not excited! I really should be studying right now, instead of blogging, but ohhh well. I'm a procrastinator... haha I'm so excited for summer though. I want a break from school so bad! I swear I still have senioritis... oops!

AJ's on graveyards for the next week and a half. For some reason, when he's on graveyards I stay up til he comes home. It's weird... I guess kinda a good thing this week though because then I can study more... If I will get off the internet and get studying haha! Fall semester is always so much easier for me. Maybe it's because of the weather or something, I have no idea. Well, I guess I'll get off and go attempt to study/write a paper. Dang it!
